RWS & RAS CERTIFICATIONS

Silkeborg Uldspinderi is certified to the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) and Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS), which certifies and tracks wool and alpaca fiber from the source to final product. Certified by Control Union CUC-891558.
While embracing sustainability and animal welfare, long-lasting quality will always be the most important factor. The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) and Responsible Alpaca Standard (RAS) requires animal welfare and responsible land management practices to be in the place at the sheep and alpaca farm.
